We found a new house!

July 14, 2010

Paul, Sophia, and I just got back from our second trip to Wildwood house searching.  After a rough time the first time, and with news from Paul’s job that we needed to move asap, we planned a little more time and a lot more houses to look at.  Up until the last house, we felt there were a couple that we could settle on.  Fortunately, from the moment we pulled into the drive to every room we saw, we knew the last one we saw was the perfect house for us!  Here are a few photos I snapped before we left with our agent, Holly Ferris, to make our offer!

The house is really close to the Theater, subdivision pool, grocery store, daycare, everything.  We will miss SO many people in Neosho, but are anxious for our new adventures to begin.

SOPHIA ON THE TRIP

Sophia learned a new word a couple of days ago… “cracker”.  The last two hours on the trip up, she would look at me, smiling, both arms outstretched from her car seat and say “Cracker! Cracker! Cracker!” and cheer when I gave her one.  She got  pretty messy, but was satisfied.  As soon as we got to the Wildwood Hotel late Saturday night,  I stripped Sophia for a bath and started for it.  She got distracted by the telephone on the way.  She was all business on it. We later had to pry it from her, but snapped a few photos first:

The next day we went for a swim:

Here is Sophia being fussy cuz she’s being changed into her suit.  “help me, momma!”

Then, once she gets the suit on she admires it in the full-length mirror…

In the pool with dad, she LOVES being in the water!
